The role
You will join our core engineering team and work closely with the Tech Lead and CTO to:
• Build and scale backend systems (PHP / Symfony)
• Own features end-to-end, from design to deployment
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams
• Leverage AI tools to enhance development efficiency
What we are looking for
• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in PHP (Symfony), MySQL, and REST APIs
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Product mindset with a focus on impact
• Comfortable working with AI coding tools
• Fluent in English
• Based in Africa (Morocco or Egypt preferred)
Nice to have
• Experience with caching, queues, and asynchronous processing
• Knowledge of observability and performance optimization
• Understanding of security and data privacy in SaaS environments
• Experience in logistics or transport tech
